I provide professional counseling services to individuals and couples addressing a variety of issues including:
depression, anxiety, relationship issues, marriage counseling, grief and loss, life transitions, self-esteem, stress management, anger, parenting and step-parenting, divorce, remarriage, career counseling and financial issues. I have specialized training in relationships and couples counseling. I also have specialized training in treating trauma and other issues using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy).
My counseling practice is client-centered and strengths-based, incorporating modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Imago Relationship Therapy, Gottman Relationship Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapies, Psycho-dynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Systems Therapy and Gestalt Therapy – based on each client’s needs and goals. I am dedicated to creating a counseling environment where clients feel safe to share and be both supported and challenged in their journey toward self-healing and growth. I specialize in helping people find peace, joy and balance in their relationship with themselves and with others.
After building a successful career in sales and management, I had the opportunity to make a career change in order to pursue the work that is my true calling, clinical social work, and dedicate my career to helping people in a more meaningful way. I feel fortunate to be doing work that I love and that allows me integrate my clinical training with my prior professional and personal experiences.
